Explore Council Crest

We went on a picnic to Council Crest today. The boys learned the following: Council Crest is the highest point in Portland and where the Native Americans gathered to send smoke signals back in the day. You can see 4 mountains from up top (Adams, Rainier, Hood & St. Helens - we forgot to look for Jefferson) and the statue of the woman holding the child in the air was stolen in 1980s and recovered 10 years later.
