doings

Here is what you can find the boys doing at some point every day....

Cooper building a lego masterpiece. The squishy gorilla is helping him.

Brody coloring. He has recently graduated from using one color on all
pages until the color runs out to using two and sometimes three colors.

The boys are currently throwing insults at each other from room to room as they partake in these activities. Brody is doing the dreaded "repeat everything that everyone around him does and says". He also just told me to "show some backbone" - apparently from the movie, Dinosaur.

Christmas aftermath

Brody's favorite Christmas present is his scooter (or "everyfing") which he rides all over the house. He rode through Cooper's tornado room this morning and I'm sure a sign on his door will follow soon (i.e. "No one bring their scooter in my room").

There he is...

There he goes....

anatomy of an appetizer plate

Brody's favorite lunch is an appetizer plate....
crackers & dip, raspberries, grapes, carrots, sugar snap peas...he loves it!

Christmas Shopping

I took the boys Christmas shopping today, which is one of my favorite things to do because I let them pick out presents for all the family-the ideas are always original and quite hysterical. When Coop was 3 he got Papa a box of Grape Nuts because "Papa LOVES Grape Nuts" and auntie Amy got deodorant. Today I asked Coop what he wanted to get GG. Right away he answered, "medicine". I told him that it wasn't a very fun gift and why medicine. His response, "because she's old and all old people need medicine". I gave him a look and he said, "geez mom she's like 95 or 96. That's old!" So I let him get her medicine. Sorry GG

Halloween - A belated post

Just a belated picture of the kids at Halloween....

Coop is a Duck fan...Eli is wearing the hand-me-down pumpkin costume that Zack, Cooper & Brody all wore...all I can say is "poor Gracie"...Brody is dressed up as a 3 year old who won't wear a costume...Brooklyn is apparently the 3 year old's girlfriend (they start early these days)...and Zack is "a mass murderer" (while trick-or-treating, this is what he told the old lady who asked what his costume was - Angie & I hid).

Brotherly Love

The evidence.....

Within 1 minute of Cooper posting his "Do Not Desterb!" sign on his door,
Brody had removed it, crumpled it up and threw it on the floor.

More brotherly love....

I heard Coop explaining to his aunt something that Brody said. Coop could hardly get the words out he was laughing so hard. Per Brody, "when I go see Santa, I'm going to tell him to kick Cooper in the butt". Nice
