Fir Point Farms

Fir Point Farms is a wonderful farm to explore. Sorry about Brody's little "grab".

Lots of things to look at and climb on...

The wood cutouts...why oh why?

There was even a ball pit but instead of balls it was filled with hazelnuts...hence, Hazel's Nut House. It doesn't get any better than that.

We got to feed pygmy goats, chickens and bunnies.

The boys played on Noah's Ark.

We ate a picnic lunch outside the greenhouse.

Canby Depot Museum

We went to the Canby Depot Museum which is the oldest train depot in the state of Oregon.
It was closed.

Canby Ferry

The whole point of this Explore Oregon adventure was to ride the Canby Ferry...which lasted approximately 90 seconds...but the kids loved it. Brody had no idea that the ferry was a "boat" until we got out of the car and he yelled, "we're on a boat"!

And we ended the adventure with a trip to Cold Stone...of course!

The Roof

Brody's first adventure on the roof with daddy...

Seaside with Friends

What a great weekend in Seaside...sunny weather, good friends and much laughter.

Best Buddies...

Brooklyn & Brody found a little "fort" to eat their treats in...

What a cute couple...

Cooper & Aiden took a dip in the ocean every day followed by a warm, outdoor shower at the house. Obviously the cold didn't phase them...at least not too much.

The Hose

While waiting to take Brody to the doctor for a drawn out virus, the boys cooled off in the backyard. Or I should say that Brody cooled off Cooper.

Beaverton Farmer's Market

Brody requested this photo op...

Playing on the playground...

A giant shaved ice to cool us off on one of the first warm days of summer...

Golf Camp

Cooper & Zack have started another fun summer of golf camp at Pumpkin Ridge. Not the greatest start as Coop had a pretty bad allergic reaction...got to get that kid to an allergist. He does love it, though and thanks to grampy for hosting his boys. They are so lucky!

Washington Park Playground and U U Yogurt

Our day ended with some playtime at the Washington Park play structure and a taste of U U Yogurt. Brody had orange & vanilla yogurt with sprinkles, gummy bears, m&m's & skittles. Cooper had Vanilla/Chocolate swirl yogurt with hot fudge, gummy bears & sprinkles. Zack had Vanilla/Chocolate swirl yogurt with heath bar, hot fudge and butterfinger. I had tart yogurt with granola. Yum!

Japanese Gardens

After our picnic at the Rose Garden, we took the shuttle up to the entrance of the Japanese Gardens and started exploring. The boys were given a "treasure hunt map" and were able to identify all of the "treasures"...not an easy task.
